Founded by a group of seasoned industrial PC veterans with over 20 years of experience, Aicotek B.V. is a design and manufacturing company for rugged computing solutions — rugged tablet PCs, medical tablet PCs, industrial panel PCs and embedded computer systems.
We leverage the newest computing technology to serve the vertical markets of healthcare, transportation, field service, oil & gas and hospitality, and we design and deploy embedded solutions tailored for education, digital signage, retail, AI computing and industrial automation.
Every platform comes with a one-stop OEM/ODM service — industrial design, prototyping, board-level design, OS support across Windows, Android and Linux, chassis moulding, certification, production, warranty and logistics. Partnerships with Intel, Microsoft, ARM underpin a portfolio that spans x86 and Arm.

OUR MILESTONES
A decade of rugged, embedded and AI computing
From an embedded PC start-up to a design and manufacturing company with its own factory and offices on three continents.
2025 – 2026
- Founded by a group of seasoned industrial PC veterans, focused on the embedded PC market
- Eindhoven and Shenzhen offices opened
- Aicotek B.V. registered in Eindhoven, the Netherlands (KvK 66823803)
- The Estone brand focused on rugged tablets and mobile computing
- Expanded the business into education, digital signage, retail and industrial automation
- Joined the Intel Embedded Alliance
- Launched fanless computers and panel PCs with integrated Nvidia GPUs for digital signage, video surveillance and AI applications
- Developed medical-grade tablet PCs powered by Intel Atom Z510 with RFID
- Expanded the tablet product lines with Intel and ARM processor platforms
- Received the Intel Alliance Award of Excellence in Market Development
- Expanded the testing facility to support full MIL-STD-810G rugged tablets
- Our high-performance fanless PC was recognised by AnandTech as “the most powerful and efficient passively cooled PC”
- Began development of ARM-based Linux and Android tablet PCs and embedded PCs
- Launched the HIO Project: an expandable, modular ARM hardware platform with open-source Linux, serving as an IoT building block
- Became an NXP Connect Partner
- Opened a new 36,000 sq. ft. ISO 9001-certified design and manufacturing facility in Shenzhen, China, and obtained ISO 13485 certification for medical device production
- Launched a full line-up of ARM-based PoE panel PCs for AI and IoT deployments
- Expanded the tablet line-up with the MD-100M medical tablet and the MJ-80 rugged tablet
- Released ARM and Intel SFF pico-ITX boards for panel PCs and IoT gateways
- Merged the Estone and Aicotek websites to align marketing, enrich the product portfolio and extend OEM/ODM service
- Created simplified wall-mount connections for panel PCs
- Launched an ultra-rugged tablet with HF, UHF and barcode scanning
- Rapid response to COVID-19 prevention with the development and release of the FSAC-80 platform
- Extended the MD-100 platform with a customisable architecture and OS
- Launched compact 12th Gen Intel NUC mini PCs and OPS PCs
- Digital signage success with slim, entry-level Atom and ARM media players
- Integrated innovative marking technologies into the tablet lines: UR-120, MD-150, MW-100 and PPC series
- Launched the first ChromeBOX OPS with partner Satsuki (Japan) into the Dutch market
- Developed new products on the Intel Wildcat Lake platform: OPS modules, media players, embedded motherboards and PCs
- Expanded AI computing offerings across Intel, AMD, ARM and Nvidia platforms

Designed and built in our own facilities
Our own factories in Shenzhen, China and Bac Ninh, Vietnam put engineering and production under one roof, with production certified for medical devices — the team that designs the board signs off the production build.
Two sites give capacity and supply-chain flexibility. High-quality components, stringent quality control and testing for market readiness are the foundation of products built for demanding environments.

Battery expertise
Battery-powered devices are a discipline of their own. We design and integrate the battery packs for our mobile and rugged products and take care of the safety, compliance and shipping requirements that come with them.
Stock, engineering and service in Europe
From Eindhoven, the Netherlands we hold stock for fast delivery across Europe, run engineering and project management in your time zone, and handle support, warranty and RMA locally. As a Dutch company we keep the EU compliance file in the EU.
A global set-up with two factories
Our own factories in China and Vietnam give capacity and supply-chain flexibility, while sales and service centres in the Netherlands, the United States and Japan keep us close to customers on three continents.
